The nose develops aromas of fruits of the forest on balsamic and menthol notes, with spicy notes and fine woods. Tasting:
This wine grapes exclusively come from the Chafandín plot, 100% Tempranillo (Tinto Fino) and whose vineyard is aged around 40 years old . It is extraordinary grapes, small diameter, with a thicker skin which gives the concentration increasing in the maceration. The malolactic take place in new French oak barrels of 300 liters and then the wine remains in the same barrel aging for as long as deemed appropriate (depending on the vintage) and is typically between 15 to 20 months. Wine with intense aromas of ripe black fruit, minerality and fine woods. The palate is very spacious with large volume of fruit and travel. End with a lingering aftertaste.

Some wines from certain sectors of our oldest vineyards from the Chafandín plot, along the aging process, in certain vintages, move more gracefully and personality tasting successive tasting, there is as "Heart Beat ". These barrels are selected in the first six months after each harvest and separate to have personalize follow up. The vintage that ́s produces this event we bottled this wine under the brand Sed de Cana, resulting in the most emblematic wine from our winery. Fruity, floral (violet) aromas on elegant, mineral, balsamic and spicy notes. This wine is wide, juicy and voluminous, and with a fine tour full of expression and balance. Long end and very exciting.

Yaso is a wine of Tinta de Toro variety that has stayed in French oak barrel for 6 months. Its vineyards are older than 40 years and are located in the South East of the Zamora province on soft undulations and sandy texture with dun color. Winemaking tradition in Toro shire dates back even before the Roman domination, more than 2,000 years ago. Yaso in Greek mythology is a healing goddess.
Cooler: Intensity medium high. Red cherry with garnet hints. Clean and shiny.
Nose: Good intensity, fruits are predominant, reminding of cherries, morello cherries and berries marmalade. Flowery violet tones, mixed with spice, mentol, balsamic aromas and black liquorice.
Mouth: pleasant attack and balance. Fresh sensations with volume. Fruity and noble wood hints, together with spice, coffee and liquorice in the back nose.

Sensations in the mouth are those of a fresh wine and good acidity with silky round tannins. The back nose is floral, mineral and fruity.

85% of the wine ages at a minimum of 6 months in stainless steel tanks, and 15% of the wine ages at a minimum of 6 months in new French oak barrels with 400L capacity. A weekly bâtonnage stirring is done to maintain the suspension of the lees during aging in the tanks and in the barrels.
